In 1943 - 1945 Wendover Air Field was used as a B-29 Bomber Training Area. The Enola Gay Bomber left from this air field to bomb Japan. It is now run down but there's an effort to restore it.
This is the actual control tower, Ed climbed up to take some pictures.
Thousands of men lived here then. It is now the Wendover Airport.
